Pestle Weed College of Information Technology, established in the year 2005-2006 is an academic institution running under the ages of the Children’s Academy Association. The Association was registered at Dehradun on 25th October 1958 under the Societies Registration at, 1860. The Association enjoys a very high reputation in providing quality education in various institutions under its management.

Vision

The vision of the Governing body envisages to impart education of high standards to meet the present need of society and the global demands. It intends to provide best teacher education with the vision of the advancement and dissemination of knowledge. As also to undertake extramural studies, extension programmes and outreach activities to contribute to the development of the society.

Mission

The mission of Governing Body, as relevant to the Pestle Weed College of Information Technology aims at establishing a teacher education institution of high standard so as to ensure quality education being imparted to the students at various levels of teacher education. With the technology boom, the governing body intends to provide fully qualified and competent teachers to meet the global demands.

Infrastructure

The college has spacious classrooms rooms for B.Ed., M.Ed., B.A./B.Sc. B.Ed. Integrated course. The college also has different laboratories like Psychology Lab, Physics Lab, Chemistry lab, Botany lab, Mathematics lab, ICT lab, Language lab, Social Science lab, Work experience lab and Computer lab. Music room, Sports grounds, Gymnasium, Swimming pool, Common Rooms for Boys and Girls etc. are available for productive utilization of leisure time. All the labs are well equipped with latest technologies.

The college has a huge auditorium installed with latest communication system, LCD and improvised sound system installed in it. It has a seating capacity for more than 1000. All major academic and cultural activities are conducted here. The library of the institute is fully computerised and follows the open access system of books. The college also has a hostel and mess facility separately for boys and girls students.
